Alvilda Faber Striim holds a BA in Dance and Choreography from The Danish National School of Performing Arts (2022). Alongside her own choreographic work, including the ongoing project Body of Distraction, she has performed and worked with choreographers such as Gunilla Lind, Matija Ferlin, Thomas Eisenhardt, Fernando Melo, and Samuel Feldhandler. Her practice spans dance, performance, and theater, focusing on the choreographic potential of bodily encounters and relational states.

Alvida has danced with Norrdans since autumn 2025.

What moves you?
– The concrete or fictional drama between my body and its surrounding. I'm moved by a desire to engage with and reorganize hierarchies between the living and the non-living, fantasizing about the yet unbuild, unspoken or undanced. And music - it makes me groovy, soft and sharp. 

Who's your hero?
There are many people in my life I admire and look up to. One of them is my mother. She is brave, speaks up for other people, makes grand love declarations and then she is the best storyteller in my life!
