Ruben Brown is a dance artist who trained at the London School of Contemporary Dance. After years of performing in the industry, Ruben has worked professionally across the globe with the likes of Requardt & Rosenberg, Compagnie THOR, Joe Moran and Cold Ensemble.

In more recent years, he has delved deeper into somatic practices and has started to explore his own practice, playing with sensing, imagery and expression. Ruben strives to connect with fellow artists and audiences through performance; creating inclusive spaces for exchange and insight.

Ruben has danced at Norrdans since autumn 2025.

What moves you?
– What moves me is rooted in the belief of the body’s ability to work as an 'affective' tool. Through dance we express our human experiences and there’s power in reflecting on them collectively. 

Who's your hero?
– I wouldn’t say I have any heroes but the only person that would come close has to be Mum.
