Revival of Norrdans' Outdoor Performance Stuff in the Park

It’s a beloved return as Norrdans sets out on tour with the performance Stuff in the Park during May and June. Several shorter pieces are presented side by side, and the audience gets close to both grass and movement.

Norrdans’ performance Stuff in the Park consists of four unique dance works created by the most exciting choreographers in the Nordic region today. Last year’s tour in Berlin, Stockholm, and northern Sweden was a great success, leading to many new encounters with audiences. Now it’s time again for this performance, where world-class dance and choreography unfold among budding flowers, fresh air, and summery vibes.

“Dancing outdoors is both radical and ancient. We’re not only bringing art to the people—we’re also bringing the people to art. Stuff in the Park is our poetic protest against the idea that culture only belongs in salons. Here, dance is wild, open, and public—just like democracy should be,” says Martin Forsberg, Head of Dance and Artistic Director of Norrdans.

Stuff in the Park has its revival at Murberget’s open-air museum in Härnösand on Wednesday, May 28, followed by a tour across northern Sweden. The performance takes place in public spaces and is free of charge.
