Yared Tilahun Cederlund is the dancer, choreographer, and composer who moves fluidly between styles and contexts, between street dance and the contemporary. Always with music and rhythm tied to Yared’s own unique expression.
In the classroom performance SAMBANDET, two dancers explore what happens between people. A glance, a gesture, a rhythm shared. A negotiation that becomes a dance, a collaboration, a rhythmic movement. Cooperation and consent — the silent agreement. Close, open, and reciprocal. We are shaped in relation to one another — I exist because you exist.
SAMBANDET is an exciting meeting between Yared’s strong street-dance background and Norrdans’ exploration of contemporary dance.
