Kaelin Isserlin (he/they/she)
"Dance is the language between our internal world and the richest corners of culture. Dance gives us things that words could never explain."
Kaelin began dancing at the age of 10 at a competitive dance studio and then attending a high school dance and visual arts program.
She received her contemporary dance education at the Dance Arts Institute of Canada and further trained at Nuova Officina Della Danza with Tom Weinberger, Andrea Constanzo Martini and Kate Wallich. As a freelancer, they have had the pleasure to work with friends and inspirations including, WIlli Dorner, Marjolien Vogels, Marie Lambin, Noemie LaFrance, NOSTOS collectives, EIlish Shin-Culhane, I/O Movement/Lauren Runions to name a few.
Under the guise of OVERSIZE.LOAD, he has co-created “blank space”, a series of creative practice workshops that offers Canadian creatives an opportunity to explore new ideas and connect with community members.
Kaelin has danced with Norrdans since 2024.
