A longing to seize a moment.
How long is a moment? Is it that very special instant, or is it really a constant stream of moments flowing endlessly? What gaze is in a glimpse? Is it the sparkle in the eye? And where exactly does that sparkle reside?GLIMPSE creates make-believe rain of moments, tiny fleeting seconds that softly fall around us. We find ourselves in the eye of the weather, amidst monumental and everyday landscapes where the dance twists and turns while we yearn to catch a glimpse of light.
A tribute to what cannot be crafted but must be allowed to emerge and rely upon. A flirtation with our imagination. A belief that within the smallest moments lie the greatest sparks of hope. The performance is inspired by weather metaphors, misunderstood proverbs, and the extraordinary present.
