From 4 sides the audience looks in on the building of a collage, made up from paper, movement, and sound. The dancers move and map, transforming and rebuilding the space, creating a new landscape.
KUDE (Kommunal Utåtriktad Dans Ensemble) is the intergenerational amateur dance ensemble of Norrdans. Over 15 weeks they have been working with choreographer and composer Jonathan Starr and dance developer Jenny Lundmark to make the dance performance Rota runt på lämpligt sätt.

Jonathan Starr (he/him) is an English multidisciplinary artist who primarily works with movement and sound. After receiving his BA and MA in contemporary dance from London Contemporary Dance school in 2019, he relocated to Sweden to work with Norrdans as a dancer.
In addition to dancing with Norrdans, Jonathan dedicated himself to creating his own choreographic works. In 2023 he began working with community outreach, leading sound walks, teaching workshops, and laying the ground work for KUDE.

Through Community Dance, non-dancers are given the opportunity to discover and express themselves through dance, with the guidance of an experienced dance artist. This type of project is based on a place-based anchoring and highlights stories from the residents of the area in question.
