Apprentice Dancer at Norrdans 25/26
Please note: You must be enrolled in a dance education and/or connected to Erasmus+ throughout the entire length of the apprenticeship. No exceptions given.
Norrdans, an international dance company based in Northern Sweden, is looking for apprentice dancers to join our ensemble for the 25/26 season.
We present contemporary dance and choreography in the north of Sweden, nationally and internationally.
We are looking for dance students who can combine contemporary dance and improvisation techniques with performance skills and strong musicality.
You should also have an interest in diverse choreographic processes.
Norrdans ensemble includes two apprentice dancers per season. The apprenticeship gives a deep insight in to one of europes most unique repertoire companies. We offer a pronounced place to develop as a dance artist with great performance opportunities and in-depth creation processes.

Norrdans offers:
-75 000 SEK for the full apprenticeship
-Free housing in a shared apartment
-2 roundtrips (European destination – Härnösand)
-Private health insurance
-per diems and hotels on tour.
The apprenticeship period is from 04.08.2025 to June 2026.

Successful applicants will be invited to Norrdans company audition.
The audition will take place in Stockholm, at Dansalliansens studios in Nacka, Saturday 7th of December with the possibility of a call-back on Sunday 8th of December.
Audition by invitation only.
The audition will include dance class/training, repertoire, improvisation and task based score work.
Successful candidates from the call-back will be interviewed via Teams between the 9th and 13th of December 2024.
We are not able to host private auditions or shift audition dates.
