Leo started dancing at the age of 4. He got his bachelor degree of Chinese Classical Dance at Beijing Dance Academy. Then he continued to study modern and contemporary dance at University of Utah as a Teaching Assistant. In 2019, he received his MFA degree of Modern Dance and the Certificate of Screen dance. He was assigned as the Head of Modern and Pop Dance in the Teaching and Research Department of Dance, at Hubei Vocational College of Art, and worked as a dancer at the Air Force Dance Company of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army in China. He also cooperated and learned under the mentorship of Stephen Koester, Satu Hummasti, Molly Heller, Katie Scherman, Gesel Mason, Ellen Bromberg and Katrina McPherson.

Leo has danced with Norrdans since fall 2019.
